MOD Aberporth provides a large secure safety area for the testing of air launched weapons and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).

MOD Boscombe Down provides extensive facilities to undertake a wide range of aircraft testing and evaluation. It is also the home of the world’s first test pilot school (ETPS) that provides world-class training for flight test professionals of both civilian and military customers.

MOD Eskmeals provides defence Test and Evaluation (T&E), and training support services which help ensure the safety and effectiveness of munitions and skills used by the UK Armed Services.

The MOD Hebrides Range is located at various sites on the islands of South Uist, Benbecula and St Kilda. This large area makes it ideal for Air-Launched Weapons Operations and is a fully Instrumented Controlled Environment which enables the test and evaluation of Land, Air & Sea Weapons, Systems and Training.

MOD Pendine provides defence Test and Evaluation (T&E), and training support services, helping to ensure that the equipment used by our Armed Forces is fit for purpose, safe and meets contracted requirements and that military personnel have adequate training for the job they do.

MOD Shoeburyness helps to ensure the safety and effectiveness of munitions and skills used by the UK Armed Services.

The MOD West Freugh Range is a weapons Test & Evaluation (T&E) Range. This controlled environment has the ability to conduct a variety of airborne and ground test activities in support of the UK Defence programme and Armed Forces.
